App features include a curated news feed of Nike+ content and friend activity wrapped in feed cards and thread stories, a personalized store with the latest sneakers and apparel, an inbox to hold your notifications and reserved products direct to you from Nike and a Services tab that is your one stop place for all Nike related questions and services.
Joining the project halfway, I worked alongside 3 other multi-disciplinary designers to hit daily briefs that covered UX, UI, Visual Design and Animation, through rapid iterations and prototypes. Tasks covered larger feature concepting, to ecosystem work through to asset production.
Personalised content was tailored to users in the form of feed cards and threads. Cards were categorised from the latest Nike products, to news stories and campaigns.
Step-by-step check out process for purchasing within the app. The flow shows purchasing from a feed card thread, through to shipping and finally payment details (including Touch ID).
The Nike+ app creates a seamless integration between e-commerce, the fitness apps and SNKRS. On launch, certain feed cards pushed to .com experiences and additional apps. If not installed, the user would be prompted to download from the relevant app store.
RESERVED FOR YOU
Upon downloading the app, users were prompted with an exclusive 'Reserved for You' sneaker waiting in their inbox. From then on, exclusive offers were sent exclusively to users on rare drops and apparel.
