The game and branding references were largely based off gaming and sci-fi nods, hinting at space, h.u.d and dashboard design. The neon and vivid colours were also largely based off the vivid fruit colours used in the main JuiceBurst branding.
The game mechanic saw users launch straight into the game (with an instruction panel overlaying before play). Fruit was based off an X and Y axis, meaning wherever you turn your phone fruit will launch into the frame of your screen on a mixture of base axis. In addition, the speed and quantity of fruit would vary depending on how well you perform in the game.
